- Quote request form — name, phone number, email address (optional), postcode, type of job, your description of the work, optional preferred date/time, and optional photos you choose to upload.
- Phone or email contact — whatever you tell us directly.
- Job records — once we carry out work, we keep a record of the job, address, work performed, and any electrical certificates issued, for the legally required period.
This website does not use cookies or third-party tracking. We don't run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking. No cookie banner is needed because nothing is being tracked.
Why we collect it (lawful basis)
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — lawful basis: legitimate interest and, where you have submitted the form, your consent.
- To carry out work you've booked — lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To issue electrical certificates and meet legal record-keeping obligations — lawful basis: legal obligation (Building Regulations, Part P).
How your data is stored and shared
Form submissions are processed by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party form-handling service based in the US that operates under Standard Contractual Clauses for UK/EU data transfers. Formspree forwards your submission to our business email inbox.
Our business email is hosted by Google (Gmail). Photos and information you upload land in that inbox.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with marketers, advertisers, or any third party other than the technical processors listed above. We may share information with HMRC, building control, NICEIC, or other authorities where legally required.
How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries that don't lead to work: kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Job records and electrical certificates: kept for at least 6 years to comply with HMRC, NICEIC, and insurance requirements.
- Photos you uploaded: retained alongside the job record for the same period.
Your rights under UK GDPR

- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements above)
